Revis Signs With Jets

Better late than never.

The Jets finally came to an agreement with their first-round cornerback Darrelle Revis on Wednesday night.

The 20-day holdout was centered on the length of the contract -- Revis wanted a five-year deal and the Jets were looking at a six-year deal.

So, what did Revis sign for?  Who knows?  Terms of the deal weren't released, but the contract is 47 pages long.  You would think there would be something in there about the length of the deal, right?*

The Jets don't have an official practice on Thursday so it's unlikely that the 14th round draft pick will see any action when the Jets take on the Vikings in their second preseason game on Friday night.

Still, it's good to finally have Revis in camp.  Welcome to the New York Jets, rookie.

Now get to work.

*UPDATE -- Looks like Revis agreed to a six-year, $36 million deal with $11 million guaranteed, but with voidable years.
