Get the hell outta here!!
That's what the Jets said to punter
Ben Graham Tuesday night. I have no confirmation on that quote, but I'm almost positive it went down like that. Graham was terrible in two games this season and was inconsistent (at best) last season. The former Aussie football player had a good preseason, but it didn't follow him into the regular season.

And after an exhaustive search, the Green and White gave the gig to
Reggie Hodges. Hodges played for the Philadelphia Eagles and St. Louis Rams in 2005 and was recently cut from the New England Patriots practice squad. Another punter, Waylon Prather, was added to the Jets practice squad.
Usually waiving a punter doesn't have a ripple effect, but Graham was also the holder on field goals. I'm not sure if the Jets will give those duties to Hodges or someone else. I always preferred the backup quarterback to be the holder. It gives him something to do besides holding a clipboard and it gives the team a real option on fakes and botched kicks. Kellen Clemens -- get ready.
But one thing is for sure, the Gotham Green need Hodges to do a better job on punts. Or it won't be long before he gets the boot himself.
