The man certainly doesn't lack confidence.
The Jets introduced
Rex Ryan as their new head coach on Wednesday and the 46-year-old didn't waste any time letting everyone know exactly what he expects.
"My goal is to win a Super Bowl. It's not to just win X number of games."
Amen, brother.

Here are a few more gems from D-Rex in case you missed it.
"We want to be known as the most physical football team in the NFL. The players will have each other's backs, and if you take a swipe at one
of ours, we'll take a swipe at two of yours."
A little reminiscent of Jim Malone (Sean Connery) talking to Eliot Ness (Kevin Costner) in "The Untouchables," no?
"The message to the rest of the league is, 'Hey, the Jets are
coming, and we're going to give you everything we got. And I think that's going
to be more than you can handle.'"
I'm diggin' it.
"We expect to win. We have a lot of talent here that's already in
place."
OK, not as brash as the others, but still a solid quote.
The Associated Press got a hold of Ryan's dad Buddy and the old man was as shy as always.
"I told him the Jets were my team, just don't [mess] them up."
Buddy Ryan was a defensive coach for the Jets from 1968 to 1975.
It's easy to talk big in the offseason, but D-Rex's comments make me want to strap on the pads and do some hitting.
I hope the Jets feel the same way.

Man, I miss Buddy Ryan.
